I originally wanted to give the title "Ghosting in the time of the plague". But I hope we're past the plague. And that in the plague, ghosting was not as terrible as it is now. In the "post-Covid" time it just became the worst ever.

The year of remote working. 2020 exposed most of the weaknesses of companies in the HR area: an initial salary freeze with the rising cost of living, insufficient protection for employees in a pandemic situation, a mismatch in the company culture of employees recruited and working remotely, employee burnout.

It is just over a year since the outbreak of the pandemic (14 months). In this post, I would like to share my observations over this time as far as the IT recruitment market is concerned. My observations refer to the Polish market, however, I think they are relevant to the IT job market in most Western countries.
